Meet Naperville’s Phenomenal Women!
In conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment’s passage in 2020, Naper Settlement brought hundreds of women’s stories to the forefront with its HERstory celebration. From the thought-provoking HERstory Speaks Lecture Series to the opening of the Women: Waves of Change exhibit, Naper Settlement spent 2020 exploring the important roles women have played throughout history and today. To recognize the women currently making history, the museum asked the community to nominate Naperville women that inspire them, and received an overwhelming response.
