"Elisabeth Nuesser is an amazing individual with a story that inspires and empowers. She is the only daughter with 7 brothers. She grew up in Naperville and survived traumatic events as a child before turning 18. She became a single mother at 18 and found a way to raise her daughter and finish beauty school to begin her career. Elisabeth became the poster child for Teen Parent Connection, and shared her story with teens through various speaking engagements. Later when she met her husband they started a clothing line, called Fight Chix, that has roots in mixed martial arts but taught a message of women's empowerment. The clothing line has had international success and Elisabeth used the platform to help several charities both locally and nationally. The brand was nominated for best lifestyle MMA brand in 2010. Recently Elisabeth has pivoted the Fight Chix brand to focus more on Yoga, with a sister brand, Yogi Chix. She just completed her yoga teacher training and is currently teaching classes both privately and at Yoga 360 in Naperville. Elisabeth and her husband Jake have recently adopted their grandson Jona, who is 2 years old and diagnosed autistic. They also have a 14-year-old son Jase that is starting at Naperville Central. Elisabeth's daily practice of yoga, brings peace and healing to everyone she touches."
