HERstory-Tanesha-Lambert

"Tanesha Lambert is the co-owner/operator and center administrator at MKH Early Education Center (MKHEEC) which opened May 2017. She attended DePaul University, where her focus was marketing.

Lambert brings a spirit of entrepreneurship and a heart to serve others in everything she does. Recognized as one of the most influential women, 40 and under, throughout Chicagoland, thousands of people have attended her non-profit and “just because” social events. She has helped clients with a range of services, from improving their connection with their target audiences, developing relevant programs, and delivering business operation solutions.

Exposed to entrepreneurship during her teenage years, Lambert often gave her mom unsolicited advice about growing her successful in-home business. This is where her thirst for entrepreneurship started. She lived and breathed entrepreneurship as a child, thanks to her mother, a businesswoman who taught Tanesha from a young age what it meant to build, own, nourish, and partner in business. She also made it a point to keep a healthy work-life balance before it became a buzzword.

As a contractor, she expanded her skills and experiences in marketing, grew ideas for program development, and discovered a passion for business efficiency.
A few years as a manager for McDonald’s Corporation’s marketing department took Lambert’s creativity to new levels. She continued to learn what worked, and what was needed, for small businesses and non-profits to succeed.

As center administrator at MKHEEC, she is able to cultivate, build and operate a boutique childcare center along with her lifelong friend and business partner. Within that environment, Tanesha has been able to bring all she has learned full circle and nurture her own ideas for developing business solutions that would drive innovation and efficiency. Lambert is dedicated to volunteerism and is an avid researcher and listener. She loves dancing, cooking, and creating memorable moments with family and friends. She lives in Naperville with her husband, Mario, and their children, Maria and Mario III."
