[ARCHIVED] Meet Glenda Sirota

The original item was published from December 7, 2020 11:39 AM to December 8, 2020 8:34 AM

"Glenda Sirota is a treasure in Naperville. Glenda is always looking to help others and brighten the world with her creativity. In fact, Glenda is the only person I know with an actual master’s degree in creativity. For many years she had a successful, creative purse business, One of a Kind by Glenda, where she made custom purses-- no two were the same.

Even during the pandemic, this 80 year old dynamo has been making hundreds of colorful cloth masks, all of which she has donated. Over the years, Glenda has headed many charitable projects. As a neighbor, she always welcomed our neighborhood kids with crafts and baking projects. Our children loved to be at her house for what we lovingly called, 'Camp Glenda.'

Surviving a month-long coma in her 70s, Glenda truly is a miracle and a treasure in Naperville."
