Meet the Kuhns

Shirley Ferneding Kuhn 

"Shirley Ferneding Kuhn taught thousands of children and adults horseback riding as well as how to play polo at Fairlane Farms on Hobson Road in Naperville! She was an avid fox hunting and equestrian enthusiast. From 1960 to 1978, she and her husband operated Fairlane Farms strictly as a boarding and teaching facility. In 1979, they sold the farm and relocated to a farm in Wellington, Florida. They sold that farm in 1998 and relocated to a farm in Freeport, which they named Stagecoach Farms. In 2004, she and her husband moved back to Naperville. She passed away in 2005."
 
 

Harriet Drendel Kuhn 

"Harriet Drendel Kuhn was a lifelong resident of Naperville. She was a member of numerous clubs including Catholic Daughters of America, DuPage County Home and Community Association, Mother’s Club, Birthday Club, and Pitch Club. 4-H was important to her throughout her life, and she was a leader for many years. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and gardening. She passed away in 2015."
 

Mary Ann Lisson Kuhn 

"Mary Ann Lisson Kuhn is an artist and Century Walk mural artist."
