Please Note: Naper Settlement will be closed on December 24 and 31, 2022

From November 1 through March 31, all building interiors are closed to the public with the exception of the exhibit galleries inside the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center. Guests are invited to explore the exteriors of our historic buildings and enjoy a variety of interactive tours that can be accessed through the museum's On-Cell Mobile app.

Museums for All Admission
Museums for All's national initiative is to increase accessibility of museum learning resources to low-income families. Visitors can receive general admission for $1 per person with the presentation of an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Link or WIC card with a photo identification. ‎ Visit the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center lobby to receive your discounted ticket for entry. Mask Policy

Face masks are required in all indoor areas at Naper Settlement for all guests and staff, regardless of vaccination status (due to current city and CDC guidelines). Please be aware that by using this facility, you are expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damage or loss which you or your minor child/ward might sustain as a result of use of the Naper Settlement ground in any and all activities connected with and associated with this facility (including exposure to communicable diseases).
