Weaved BasketKit 1: Corn Husk Doll

Corn husk dolls were common toys for children in the 1800s! Children could make these dolls on their own, as they were made from supplies most people already had in their homes. After you learn how to make this toy, you can add clothes, draw on a face, create hair, and even design a house for your corn husk doll – all with items you already have at home!

Corn Husk DollsKit 2: Basket Weaving

Basket weaving is an ancient tradition that is still important today! While there are machines to do a lot of our work today, some artisans still like to handcraft items, such as baskets. With this kit, you can weave your own basket! Once you learn the basics, you will be able to make your own basket designs any time using supplies you likely already have at home.
