Mary and Richard Benck Family Agriculture Center
With the Mary and Richard Benck Family Agricultural Center now open, the future is here and the pipeline to careers in agriculture is on its way. We are hard at work planning the exciting exhibitions and activities that will fill this space. We can’t wait to share these discoveries with you and our community.
Donate today to support Phase II of the Never Settle Capital Campaign. Your gift can help us create these new, integral educational programs and exhibits!

IDNR STEM Learning Lab
Housed within this building is the state-of-the-art IDNR STEM Learning Lab. This Lab will serve as one of four educational stops in the Ag Hub. Approximately 275-325 students per day will experience STEM-based activities in the lab. Students will be able to learn virtually from farmers in Illinois and nationwide through programs like Field Watchers.
Herman & Anna Hageman Memorial Thresher Hall (Now Open!)
Through a generous donation from the Wheatland Plowing Match Association, the Naperville Heritage Society acquired a 1912 Wood Bros. threshing machine which was used by many local farmers. With a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) we cleaned, stabilized and preserved the thresher which is displayed in the 1,247-square-foot Herman and Anna Hageman Thresher Hall.
