Experience Naper Settlement's Oktoberfest like never before! Traditional cuisine and authentic beer will be overflowing in a giant heated tent, with lively Oompah music during the day and over-the-top rock on Saturday night. Enjoy new event features including: an expanded draft menu, professional pumpkin carver, Oktoberfest pinball, and laugh-out-loud competitions. Celebrate the 10th annual Oktoberfest and honor the 50th anniversary of the Naperville Heritage Society, by grabbing your Alpine hat and lederhosen for the sights, smells, and sounds of Fall, German style!

50th Anniversary Celebration Activities
Our pumpkin carver will dazzle the crowd with precision and artistry, carving ten pumpkins over two days, including Naper Settlement's own Martin Mitchell Mansion! Carvings will take place from 6-10PM on Friday and 12-4PM on Saturday.
It's the ultimate Oktoberfest adventure! Set your high score on American Pinball's Oktoberfest Pinball on Tap machines. Hang out with Otto as you work to collect steins and whiz through the corkscrew roller coaster!
Stein Holding Competition, Saturday, October 5, 2:30-3PM
Challenge your friends and don't spill a drop! See who can hold a full one liter stein the longest! There will be both a men's and women's competition. All contestants get to keep their stein, with special prizes for the winners!
Pretzel Eating Competition, Saturday, October 5, 5-5:30 PM
How many pretzels bites can you eat in 50 seconds? Six participants, picked on site in the crowd, will battle it out for the top prize!
Enjoy family time with Pinot's Palette, PRO Martial Arts, Naper Settlement, Chuck E. Cheese's, and Players Indoor Sports Center! All children's activities take place from 12-4PM on Saturday only.
Naperville Heritage Society Special Events have additional policies to the Naper Settlement's museum policy.
All patrons must prepare for and complete a bag check.
Photographs may be taken and used in promotional materials.
No outside food or drinks. One factory sealed bottle of unflavored water or one empty beverage container (no glass) per person is permitted.
No pets are allowed. Service Animals are permitted.
Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated areas only.
The entrance to the festival will be through the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center. Free parking is available in the Municipal Parking Garage on the corner of Eagle and Aurora and in the Naper Settlement visitor's lot on Porter Avenue and Webster Street.
All Naperville Heritage Society events take place rain or shine. However, in the case of unsafe weather - lightning, tornado, etc. - Naper Settlement will close the grounds and cancel the event for the safety of its patrons.
All events and prices are subject to change without notice. Special event rates may vary. No refunds will be given in the event of inclement weather.

Online ticket sales will end at noon the Thursday before the event. Tickets and Memberships may be purchased at the gate. No advance ticket discounts.
