Visit an 1830s log house and explore the frontier with Captain Joseph Naper. Experience prairie travel and prairie life first-hand at Fort Payne. Enjoy games, crafts, and chores of a bygone era.

Victorian Spa

Visit the Martin Mitchell Mansion and enjoy a night just for the girls! Learn about 19th-century hairstyles, makeup, and spa treatments. Make lotions and balms, mix bath salts, and pamper yourself with spa beauty care. You won't want to miss this fun!


Overnights

Enjoy an evening centered around the theme of your choice. Experiencing 19th-century life first-hand, your group will visit one of our historic buildings, make crafts and enjoy an old-fashioned bedtime snack and a continental breakfast. Don't forget to pack your sleeping bag, pillow and toothbrush!

Pricing & Date Availability

Overnights are available on Fridays only. Participants will check in at 7:30 PM and check out Saturday at 8:30 AM. This program is limited to youth in 3rd through 6th grade. A non-refundable $150 deposit is required and there is a guaranteed minimum of 20 participants ($900). Maximum capacity for this program is 25 participants, and there must be 1 Adult for every 4 youth in attendance.

Cost:  $45 per youth ; $8 per adult (after the youth minimum is reached)


Nights Out

Have an old-fashioned evening, but sleep in your own bed tonight! Gather your group for an evening centered around the theme of your choice. Experiencing 19th-century life first-hand, your group will visit one of our historic buildings, make crafts and enjoy a tasty snack.

Pricing & Date Availability

Nights Out are available on Fridays from 7 to 10 PM. This program is limited to youth in 2nd through 6th grade. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required and there is a guaranteed minimum of 20 youth ($600). Maximum capacity for this program is 25 participants, and there must be 1 Adult for every 4 youth in attendance.

Cost: $30 per youth; $7 per adult (after the youth minimum is reached)
