Do you have a story to tell about your life in Naperville? Those participating in the Oral History Program will be part of a session recording with an interviewer who will ask questions about their lives. To date nearly 250 narratives provide a glimpse into the life and times of Naperville residents that might not otherwise be recorded.
Some of the topics covered in the oral histories include:
- Changes in the town
- Family life
- The Great Depression in Naperville
- Growing up in Naperville
- Public Safety
- Working at the Kroehler Manufacturing Company and other businesses
- World War II and military experiences
