Naper Settlement is located at 523 S. Webster Street in downtown Naperville, Illinois - just 30 miles west of Chicago, close to Interstate Tollways I-88 (Ronald Reagan Memorial Hwy) and I-355 and highway I-55 (Stevenson Expressway).

Follow the signs located on all major Naperville roadways. Naper Settlement is located two blocks west of Washington St. at the corner of Aurora Ave. and Webster St., across from the Municipal Building, near the Riverwalk.

The parking lot is at the corner of Webster St. and Porter Ave.

WEDDING GUESTS: Century Memorial Chapel is located on Aurora Ave. just west of the Pre-Emption House and has a small parking lot adjacent to it (access is on Aurora Ave.) for weddings and Museum Store visitors. Overflow parking for wedding guests is available in the Porter Ave. and Webster St. parking area or on weekends or weekdays after 5 p.m. in the Municipal Parking lot across the street from the Chapel on Aurora Ave. between Eagle and Webster Sts.

Directions from the Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88):

Exit at Naperville Rd. and turn right (heading south) on Naperville Road/Naper Blvd. and proceed to Maple/Chicago Avenue. Turn right (heading west) and proceed into downtown Naperville. At the light on Washington Street, turn left and go one block to Aurora Avenue. Turn right at Aurora Avenue, go two blocks to Webster Street, turn left on Webster Street and go one block south to the free parking lot located at the southwest corner of Webster Street and Porter Avenue, adjacent to Naperville Central High School.

When arriving from Chicago from the Naperville Metra station located at Fifth Avenue:

Approximately 1 mile north of Naper Settlement, the station is located between Fifth Avenue and North Avenue. When you arrive from Chicago, you disembark on the Fifth Avenue side. Use the tunnel to walk under the train tracks to the south side of the station. Follow the tracks west to Washington and turn left (south). Cross the street at any of the stop lights along Washington proceeding south until you arrive at Aurora Avenue (the landmark is the Burger King on your left). Cross Aurora Avenue and turn right, proceeding west. The Naper Settlement Pre-Emption House Visitor Center will be two blocks west at Aurora Avenue and Webster Street.
