Photography Rules
Personal / Non-Commercial Photography
Visitors are welcome to photograph our grounds and building exteriors and interiors for their own personal enjoyment, except in the "Brushstrokes of the Past" exhibit and the Martin Mitchell Mansion. Flash photography, interior use of tripods and delaying a tour to take photographs is prohibited. Videotaping or audio taping of educational programs by visitors is also prohibited.

Sharing Your Photographs
If you are interested in sharing your event, portrait or artistic photographs with Naper Settlement, you may do so in a number of ways:
  • Copy your high resolution photos onto a CD and mail or deliver it with a signed and dated Photo Release Form to the lobby desk at Naper Settlement:
    523 S. Webster St.
    Naperville, IL 60540 
  • Email us a small number of photos with the completed Photo Release Form and either an electronic signature or a notation that you give Naper Settlement permission to use the photos as indicated on the form.
  • Upload your photos to your Facebook or Flickr account, tag the photos with the name "Naper Settlement" and send us an email with the link to your page. We may share the links as appropriate with other photography enthusiasts.
