Visit an 1830s log house and explore the frontier with Captain Joseph Naper. Experience prairie travel and prairie life first-hand at Fort Payne. Enjoy games, crafts and chores of a bygone era.

Victorian Spa
Visit the Martin Mitchell Mansion and enjoy a night just for the girls! Learn about 19th-century hairstyles, makeup and spa treatments. Make lotions and balms, mix bath salts and pamper yourself with spa beauty care. You won't want to miss this fun!

Overnights
Enjoy an evening centered around the theme of your choice. Experiencing 19th-century life first-hand, your group will visit one of our historic buildings, make crafts and enjoy an old-fashioned bedtime snack and a continental breakfast. Don't forget to pack your sleeping bag, pillow and toothbrush!

Overnights are offered on Fridays only. Participants will check in at 7:30 pm and check out Saturday at 8:30 am. A minimum of 20 participants or $900 is required. The maximum amount of participants is 25.
  • Age limit: 3rd - 6th grade
  • Cost: $45 per youth participant; $8 per adult after the youth minimum is reached 
  • Deposit required: $150 (non-refundable)
  • Adult to Youth Ratio: 1:4
 
Nights Out
Have an old-fashioned evening, but sleep in your own bed tonight! Gather your group for an evening centered around the theme of your choice. Experiencing 19th-century life first-hand, your group will visit one of our historic buildings, make crafts and enjoy a tasty snack.

Nights out are available on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A minimum of 20 participants or $600 is required. The maximum amount of participants is 25.
  • Age limit: 2nd - 6th grade
  • Cost: $30 per youth participant; $7 per adult after the youth minimum is reached 
  • Deposit required: $100 (non-refundable)
  • Adult to Youth Ratio: 1:4
